Hi all,

I have looked and couldn't find a December 2008 thread, so here it is.

our 176 application was sucessfully lodged this morning (uk time).

from reading all the previous threads, i believe the next step is....well none for a while, apparently we now just wait and wait and wait and wait,

It's been ages and i havn't heard anything yet, maybe it's because it nightime in Aus. does that mean they will call tonight?

I see you have been waiting for about 20 minutes now, I suggest you have a look at your status to see if your visas been granted.

(really, get on with life a usual and dont worry about it until atleast 5 months have passed.)

That doesn't sound right...

I'm sure you're supposed to check your status several times per day, every day and keep checking www.beupdate.co.uk to see who got COs and visa grants and when.
Finally you have to jump up and down screaming everytime a more recent application makes progress and you don't.

The visa process is designed to drive you insane, if it doesn't then you're not doing it right




Actually the time will go by pretty fast so start the planning now

I'm beginning to think that the rest of you know something we don't, have we lodged at the wrong time of year?

Hi guys!

I lodged an application on the 2nd...received acknowledgement email today from my CO (also requesting more info!) Been told i should hear the outcome in 12 weeks! Too long!!

TWELVE WEEKS!!!

I whish I could expect a visa in 12 weeks, my agent reckons we will be lucky if we get it in 12 months, I'm so jealous.
