De facto spouse skills
Has anyone applied as main applicant, but their spouse has no formal qualifications, or has worked only part time? I doubt if DIMA would class a housewife/mother as an occupation. There are no skills to assess, what would DIMA's view of a housewife be and is the application likely to fail?

I'm in the same catagory, i think proving the relationship is the main thing, not the skills.

Thanks for that. So if the spouse has only done part time shop work/cleaning etc and has no qualifications, does that mean there is no need to obtain references or supporting evidence? IE - Only the main applicants evidence etc will be looked at???
