Re: CURRENT PROCESSING TIMES - ASPC/GSMB UPDATES THREAD
Hello Rehman,
First of all according to you PLE means Post Lodgement Enquiry?
IF yes, what did you mentioned in the enquiry?
IS it that I am also on CSL listing as I applied for GSM 175 visa I am recognised my ASC as 2231-79(J2EE Specialist).
So do I need to raise a PLE to make them KNow that my application is also on CSL list?
I am waiting for response so that I can also let them know about my application.
One more thing, I had mentioned my occupation as Application or Analsyt programmer, When I called DIAC and enquired about my application, the person on the phone suggested me that as I had choosed the wrong occupation , my application cannot be under CSL, to get my application under CSL i need to choose my occupation as Computing Professional(nec).
I raised a PLE for this change and I got the confirmation that they have changed my occupation as computing professional (NEC)
Email I got from Adelaide PRocessign Center is below:
Dear Mr Nayakar, Thank you for your e-mail about your visa application under Australia’s General Skilled Migration programme. I can confirm your occupation has been changed on the 30 March 2009. For any further enquiries about the application you have lodged please refer to our website using the following link http://www.immi.gov.au/contacts/visa...fessionals.htm
Kindly any one suggest .

Yes PLE is post lodgment enquiry. I told them that my computing qualification is recognized by ACS as 2231-79(C#, C++). To which they acknowledged that i am on CSL. So i think you need to raise PLE, just to make sure that they know you are on CSL.
Thanks.

In the same position. 885 visa also lodged 10/03/09. On a bridging visa and finding getting work very very difficult without PR. Only on SOL list. If there was some indication of a time scale it would help.

Its my guess looking at the trend of updates we've been getting from past few weeks
#55
Re: CURRENT PROCESSING TIMES - ASPC/GSMB UPDATES THREAD
also if you see carefully the DIAC has very conveniently removed the date of weekly updates and now they are just updates which we can get any time and not the weekly updates on every monday

I think what he is trying to say that even though it is updated every Monday, it has been EXACTLY the same for the last few weeks and will stay exactly the same until they have allocated all those on the CSL (end of May).

Hi,
One of my colleague has recently assigned CO (2nd week of April 2009). He applied back in September 2008. I heard that processing capacity of aspc is 1 month in a week currently. If the continue processed in this rate:
October 2008 by 3rd week of April 2009
November 2008 by 4th week of April 2009
January 2009 by 1st week of May 2009
February 2009 by 2nd week of May 2009
March 2009 by 3rd week of May 2009
If this is true then I hope I will be assigned a CO by the end of May 2009.
Any idea?

One of my colleague has recently assigned CO (2nd week of April 2009). He applied back in September 2008. I heard that processing capacity of aspc is 1 month in a week currently. If the continue processed in this rate:
October 2008 by 3rd week of April 2009
November 2008 by 4th week of April 2009
January 2009 by 1st week of May 2009
February 2009 by 2nd week of May 2009
March 2009 by 3rd week of May 2009
If this is true then I hope I will be assigned a CO by the end of May 2009.
Any idea?
