Re: Current Processing Times
Hi All,
I am also waiting for my ACS applied on 13,June current Status is "In Process". I just want to know what if I get my +ve Acs in august and apply before September 1st for Class BN 136(Skill independent). Bcz i can get rid of September 1st immigration changes ..if my application received B4 1st of September.
Pls advise me what to do.
The only advantage I will get by applying before 1st of September is IELTS score required will be less.
I have already done academic ielts . Can i get rid of appearing in GT type of IELTS test
Waiting for your response

Re: Current Processing Times
I faxed ASPC requesting status of my application on 26th July and my Agent got a reply through email from customer service (aspc) stating that my case was forwarded to the case officer and its in the final verification. I also got the name of the case officer asigned to my case.
What does final verification mean??????? I have never come accross such message in this forum!!!!
My Timeline:
ACS Skill Assessment 2231-79(Network Security) : 27 June 2006
BN 136 MODL VISA Application : Received by DIMA on 31st August 2006
IELTS: Band 7
Meds and PCC: Frontloaded
Employer Verification: Might not be done till now according to my knowledge
Visa Grant Letter: Still Waiting
NEVER CONTACTED BY A CO TILL NOW

Re: Current Processing Times
it means that either integrity checks are in their final stages, or else that they are done, and your file was forwarded to the SMO for the final decision. whatever the case, you should be hearing from DIAC soon.

As of 3 August July 2007 the ASPC admin section is processing as
follows:

Re: Current Processing Times
Hey everyone,
After a long wait, WE HAVE GOT OUR 136 VISA GRANTED today!!!!
Now I deperately need some guidance from people who have passed this stage.
The Grant Letter says that Initial Entry to Australia must be made before 8th Nov 2007 (this date cannot be change). So what does this mean? Does the visa holders have to go in Australia? And where in Australia? Do we all have to go? (family of 4, 2 kids aged 4 and 2yrs) Or the primary applicant (hubby in this case)?
Then there is something called Visa Evidencing, though this can be done in London…can anyone explain please?
I’m so excited but equally now have to sort so many things out, any advice much appreciated.
