your right. Seeing more 2009 applicants get CO, but actual visa grant is very rare. I have been waiting for 1 and half months since CO allocation, but this is very common, I know ppl who has been waiting for like 4 months (get CO in Feb). What I am worried most is that they change CSL next finicial year, and remove EE, then the waiting will be ENDLESS.. Fingers crossed..

made a call to DIAC 2 days ago. the officer told me that all my documents have been received successfully and now under assessment. she didn't gave me the time line for this assessment though... i guess there will be no update before the new fiscal financial year takes place. as now it seems like no more visa grant as compared to the previous months.

any way, new fiscal year is just 2 weeks away!! we are pretty closed!!!!

there is one BIG question mark regarding that letter
The case officer previously assigned to your application will no longer be able to assist with enquiries about your application.
i guess the quote is for those who are not within the first 3 groups but have already assigned a CO prior the changes, i hope i get it right? perhaps??

I know that we don't have to inform DIAC about our occupation being on CSL, but I just wondered how many of you have?

Dear all,
Would it be possible that IMMI removes electronics engineer from CSL after June ?

Hi Whtuz,

I really have no idea about this coming new CSL whether EE will still be on it or not. However if you want my opinion I think we will be because Aus still needs electronic engineers.

I usually check the demand lists for the states, it gives us pretty good idea about EE shortages in Aus. Like for example WA, regional Queensland and ACT (3 years experienced EE) are still giving out sponcors.

Yeap I am also worried too!
Peter
