Default credit check on getting your PR on a 457 ie visa

hi there
Im over here on a 457ie visa and hopeing to get my PR in may next year would anyone know if they do a check on you. I have moved place 6 times in 3 years since i have been here. And not sure if i have missed paying any of my bills.. thanks

Hi Charlie,

Still think you ought to be trying a migration agent with all your issues. On the other hand if you don't pay your milk bill not sure that migration agents would be falling over themselves to help you unless you paid up front :-)

But the answer is that I haven't seen a personal credit check done as such but it's necessary for a historical record to be extracted for a company, so if your personal debts are company debts you might be in for a nasty surprise.
