Is this counted as work experience
Hello friends,
My friend is working from India for a UK company for almost 2 years now. He is an IT engineer and provides remote support to his company's clients while sitting in his home. He is now interested in Australian migration and wondering whether this is acceptable as work experience. He gets a monthly deposit into his bank account for his work and his employer is ready to sign off a reference letter stating his duties and shift hours per week as a self employed contractor for them.
He also files his tax return as a self employed person.
Can anyone point us in the right direction.

How can he have an employer and still file a self-employed IT return ?
