when you go for your test can you be asked for more info ?
Can they also request an overseas Police check and if so why wouldn't they ask Before you had your interview ?

This is Aussie Immigration we are talking about, they can request whatever they like. Normally they would ask for the police check first, but no guarantee

yeah very true.
i have been told that i can use my EXPIRED Police check from 3 years ago as i haven't left Australia !!! Seems a bit of a contradiction really !!!

Not really. They have a checklist, and every item has to be ticked off.

If it's an expired overseas police check then that is perfectly logical.

It makes sense. If you were checked before you left and never returned then you couldn’t have done anything criminal in that country that would show up anyway. Police checks are only required if you have spent more than 12 months in another country since you were granted PR.

Thats the thing. I havent left oz since i got here 6 years ago but they still want one . I will supply the old one but i havent got the original only a copy uploaded for pr as they wanted the original as well
