Hi all,

Need some confirmation on informing DIMAH on the change of
circumstances. I understand that if one needs to inform DIMAH if there
is a change of circumstances prior to 1st entry. Assuming that u return
home after the 1st entry and there is a change in circumstances such as
medical, criminal offences, etc, do u need to inform DIMAH then? If it
is a serious offence/medical condition, will DIMAH have the right to
revoke your PR?

Another question I have is with regards to the renewal of PR status.
Under the current rules, one has to fulfil the 2/5 year criterion in
order to renew the PR. What if I decided to move to Oz permanently on
the 4th year of the visa, will my visa lapsed once the 5 years is up
and I will be forced to leave Oz ? I recalled reading in an eariler
posting that as long as I don't leave Oz, I need not surrender my visa
and I can still continue to stay in Oz. Only when I clocked up 2 years,
i.e. on the 6th year, I can apply for a RRV of 5 years to return home.
Am I right on this issue ?
