Canada? can anyone answer my question?

i know im probably on the wrong page but can any of you help?, im
currently on a 3 year work permit for New Zealand, a freind of mine
asked me if they do the same visa for Canada? i.e. you get in contact
with a company, they have to prove they cant find anyone to do the job
etc.....

Don't take this the wrong way, but have you tried asking the New Zealand High Commission/Embassy about the availability of such a Canadian visa? You may need to pay the fees in Australian dollars, though.
