Can my sister's PR shorten my application's processing time?
Hi All,
I applied for Independent Skilled Migration visa in April 2002.
Since I got an acknowledgement letter in June. I had no news at all.
In this morning, I heard that my sister's PR has been granted.
My question is..
If I inform DIMIA the fact that my sister has PR now, then will they
process my case a bit quicker? Or it will not make any differences?
Your advices will be greatly appreciated.
A million thanks in advance!!
John

Hi John,
Sorry, the answer is no. Adelaide runs a strict queue apart from those with
processing priority (nurses at the moment). Your only hope is an efficient
case officer...
