can Gp's certify visa documents ?

Hello all,
Anybody know if Gp's can certify visa stuff? I used a solicitor for skills assessment, have Gp's at my disposal and if they can that would save me time and dosh!

There is a risk that the documents will be rejected.

Only safe options if you are in the UK are solicitor, notary or JP.
