Default Back pain and medical requests

My wife has suffered with severe back pain over the last 10 years resulting is time of work.

Will this have an impact on the medical assessments?

Thanx

Happy new year to all.

Default Re: Back pain and medical requests

I advised them of a minor back pain, from sitting at a desk all day at a computer, from which I was referred to a Chiropractor. Doctor didn't think it was a problem, as its now sorted out. DIMIA have not responded yet so don't know if problem.
Your problem implies quite a serious one, I would put it on the form, as when/if they check with your doctor for medical references it will be bad to withold information and then get found out.

Will it cost >$20,000 over 3 yrs, will it stop Ozzies getting treatment, is it infectious? Probably No to all 3, so should be no problem.

We've just got our PR visa, C is main applicant - I'm de facto who has generalised chronic pain and have not worked for 4yrs.

Declare all relevant information - if further diagnostic work is required, try to get on waiting lists asap (reduces future Oz expenditure).

Good luck, Gerry
