Default Assistance with the ACS RPL - Query

Could you please tell me, what are the chances of the ACS Assessment
"Suitable" or "Not Suitable" for the following profile of skilled
immigrant applicant?

1) GRADUATION :- Bachelors engineering degree in "Electronics and
communications" ( 4 year's full time study, no I.T content)

2) Work experience :-

2.1). Having 7 year's 6 months of Software Industry work
experience in
the capacity of system analyst, Software
developer.

2.2). Having online sun certified Java Architect
certification.

3) matter on reference letters of company letter heads :

3.1) 1st company (closed down, no personal references
available except \ letter) - 2 year's
- summery about company profile
- dates of employment as a software developer
- detailed information about my duties

3.2) 2 nd company ( 2 year's) - it mentioned just
dates of employment
as a software developer.

3.3) 3 rd company (2 year's) -
- summery about company profile.
- dates of employments a software analyst.
- Briefly detailed about my duties ( involved in
analysis, designing and coding of various J2EE
projects ).

3.4) current company ( 1 year 6 months)

- I have offer letter.
- I have L1 visa ( Intra company transfer visa for working
in USA) petition addressing to "American
immigration services" submitted by current
company, which mentioned detailed explanation about my
duties as a software developer in current
company. ( I can provide this as a supporting document).

4) I have pay slips of all the companies.

Anyone have any samples of successful applications that I could maybe
have a look at, or some advice, just want to know exactly what I need
to
be doing. I appreciate your help.

Thank you,

Ramesh

Ramesh,

I think for the Latest company you need a Letter from your company. The Offer Letter and L1 Visa Petition letter is Not enough.

Also since you dont have a formal education in IT, you may be asked to provide RPL and in that case you need 8 years of exp.

Let me know if you need any more help.

Good Luck with ACS

Hi Ramesh

We have just applied for the RPL (my wife has done it), well to start
with imust tell you that since you do not have an MCA or related
qualification you need to go thru the RPL and for that u need to submit
2 Project report, and RPL form which sates all the things u have learnt
while working.
Regarding the papers , well you have to show an experience of 8 years
(minimum) and everything has to be on Co's letter head (wherevr u hv
worked so far) and each thing your date of employment start and your
job responsibilities and your role evrything has to be detailed and on
the letterhead ,only payslip will not do and if you think that you have
good relations with ur present company and they can give you past
experience certificate thatn i wud suggest talk to them ,e lse the ACS
is very strict on the language (though there is no formatted
language)written onn the reference letters.
I can give you the reqd. format of the RPLbfor that u can revert to me
on the forum or mail me @ [email protected] and i'll try help u
out.

Only needs 6 years IT experience as he has a qualification equivalent to at least an Australian Diploma - does not have to be IT related to reduce 8 years to 6 years.

Experience: 7 year's and 6 months Software Industry work experience in

Hi,

I agree with Tony - only 6 years IT experience needed because of your
degree. No point waiting for another 6 months.
