Default Applying for STNI to Two States

Hi All,
The 136 is not an option for me as I only achieve 115 points and my job
being in IT, the SIR is not an option either since there aren't too
many IT jobs in the low population rural areas. So that leaves me only
the STNI at this point.
Does anyone know if it's a bad idea to apply for an STNI to Victoria
AND Western Australia at the same time? Ideally I'd like to get
nominated by Victoria to live in Melbourne, but I like Perth as well
(as a second choice). Is there a rule against applying to get nominated
by both of these states, or is it just frowned upon where as a result
they would reject my application?
Thanks.

I was reading somewhere on the britishexpats forums that someone get
STNI nominations from both VIC and SA. Is this possible?
Thanks.

Successful nominations from two or more states happens quite a lot,
judging from this group and also my own experience (which was WA and
Victoria, and in IT, like you!)

I applied to Victoria first because WA weren't offering STNI back in
March 2005 - got the "yes" - then in May when WA came on line, I
applied to them (and admitted that I had applied to Vic first, on the
form where it asks that question) and got a "yes" back from WA too.

Go for it, and good luck.

Tim
