As long as you have provided enough evidences and supporting documents

Hope that helps.

Cheers!

have u researched which country r u going to validate ur visa?..is it NZ?..i wana know what does ur pre-grant letter say..do u have to put visa label on ur passport or not. For LR countries the visa label is not required..and they can just use pre-grant email to come back to australia.

I was planning to go to christchurch on jetstar as it is cheapest, but the Aus embassy is only in Auckland, if visa label needs to be inseted then only Auckland option is feasible.

Hi Slippery,
They asked me to depart Australia before October 09 and to provide travel itinrary one week before travel and name of Australian mission visiting overseas and ask to Respond to this letter within 28 days. And it may take upto 5 working days once
you are overseas.I am in Perth so NZ is not good option for me as I don't have much time due to leave.Singapore,Malaysia and Bali are more nearer and airfare is also cheap.I have heard that usually if there is no problem they do it straightaway but sometimes it may take a week.

Well, Its great thread for Pakistanis as in DIAC case officers are nomited according to areas (regions). And Pakistani's timeline would help us to recognize the quiet exact time frame for our applications.

My details are as follows.

Occupation: Chemical Engineer - CSL
Visa Applied for: GSM subclass 175
Application Date: 08-12-2008, Online
PCC: Done but not sent yet
Medical: waiting for CO allocation.

Could you please share your views about how often do you call to DIAC or put PLE?

I have heard contervertial news about the same matter.

Some says that calling DIAC help them to identify your application more often and would pin point your application.

Others says that calling DIAC so often could make them angry and there would be difficulties for applicant.

What do you people say?

In my point of view, calling DIAC / putting PLE would help you some how...

One should call DIAC or send PLE only if it is absolutely necessory. Enquiring unnecessorily particularly if information can be found on their website wastes their time and resources.

Hi All,

DO you all have to submit 'Full Character Particulars' details on DIAC request. How long the security checks would take?
