Any cooks applying for Tra assesment?
Hi have been looking for fellow cooks applying but all post I have found are from 2005 or earlier. Am I the only one ?

Nice areas in Nsw,worth a look? no schools needed but will need work ,not looking for city living if that narrows it. Thanks fiona

Nice areas? Nice in what way? Beach? Country? Outback? That would narrow it down more. How much money are you bringing?

Cooks are still viable occupations for Australian immigration yes. In fact, we've just had a 489 visa granted for a client of ours for NSW (Regional).
If you are a citizen of the UK or Ireland then you don't apply via TRA - you would apply via Vetassess.

Hi Dorothy,yes on csol for certain regions applying for 190 state nominated. Looking at poss beach but don't mind going inland a bit.I used to live in coolum beach queensland so would like to be closer to qld if poss.

If you want more specific advice from Richard or any other agent, you'll have to pay for it. He contributes like some agents here do, for general advice but if you want to engage him, you hire him.

Well, in this case, it's not overly clear to begin with. As a Chef you can *be* in New Zealand, but what country are you a citizen of?
