Everything !!!!
Do you have apprenticship trade papers, they are worth more than CAA Licence, if you dont have apprenticeship papers then you have to account for your working life start to finish.
You have to do that anyway, just a lot easier if you have had a formal apprenticeship.
Aussies wont accept CAA Licence you have to do the CTC exam to convert.

Re: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
Hi there. I`m a CAA (EASA) B2 licenced Eng. I`m waiting to hear from the TRA, hopefully soon, as they`ve had it for well over 3 months now.
I sent the copies of pretty much everything I had. Licence, Company Authorisation Doc, Deed of Apprenticeship, Aircraft Type Course Certs, NVQ Certs, BTec Certs, LWTR Course Certs, Fuel Tank Entry Course Certs...... You get the idea!
You need to have your licence assessed by CASA to be able to sit the CTC conversion exams (first 2 of mine are next month!), and they are big exams, plus you only get one shot at them!
What licence do you hold? EASA, JAR, or LWTR? Type Ratings?
Any other questions, give me a shout!
Best of luck

HI
Ive got the unrestricted EASA B2 and two other ICAO type II licenses (Indian and the Omani) which are rated on the 737NGs and authorizations on A310s and the A300-600s .I have completed a three year course including a 6 month OJT. Additionaly I have around 6 years experience .So I dont know where I stand ,I am also on the way to get the NZ license.
