Advice on trying for ENS
Hi All,
I'm sorry if my posts are questions that have already been answered!! I've been reading this forum for a few days now, and I've found loads of info, but I'd be gratful if someone could answer this question.
We are going to try for ENS for PR. We are not in a rush to get over there (well obviously the sooner the better, but it'll be worth waiting for!!).
Anyway, as we don't qualify for the independant skilled visa, (and we're nervous about quiting our 2 well paying jobs to leave for Oz with no job for us anyway!), we're hoping this is the best way. Our plan is to be assessed by ACS, then start applying for jobs with a detailed covering letter, stating we need sponsorship. I'd like to make sure that we've done everything we can do initially, so that if hubby does get a job offer for ENS, we have everything we need. Is the only thing we can really do skills assessment? I also work in IT, but more of a tech support job. Should I also get assessed in preparation for working out there, or would it be of any benefit if its not required for points?
Thanks,
delama
