Some prices I wrote down :

Cellphone contract, Nokia 3310 over 24 months $55 p/month
Cooldrink 600ml $1.78
Typical chocolate sweet like a Mars bar $1.50
Meal in a resturant, between $13 and $20. $15 got me a nice Lebaneese
meal.
Packet biscuits $2.78
Box cornflakes $2.80
Beer in a pub $4-$6
MacDonalds meal $5.95
PawPaw $2.70 small half
1l Coke $2.99
Frying pan $9.99
1l water $1.80
10 coathangers $2.00
Picknet basket and plates $29.95
Small ice-cream $0.30
Toaster $14.99
Videotape $2.99
24 nappies $13.98
Kellogs 800gr $6.79
Brocoli $1.98 kg
Chciken $6.69 kg on special
punnet mushrooms $4.95

These are not the cheapest, as I never went into a really big
supermarket. Just wrote down as I moved around.
