Default Are the immigration processing fee refundable ?

Hi everybody

I am told the immigration processing fee (something like AUS$ 1450)is
nonrefundable even if the application is unsuccessful. Is that true ?

For Canada and other countries, they do refund at least the landing fee.

Thks

The fee for skilled independent is A$1,745, and it is not refundable even if your application is unsuccessful. Canada and Australia operate different immigration systems :-)
