ACS submission: lawyer reference fees
Im currently working in Australia on a 457 visa, wanting to get
skilled migration through ACS - just had (09/08/04) a chat with a
migration lawyer who has quoted me a large AUD fee for helping me put
together my references for ACS, route B. This doesn't include ACS
application fee ($350).
What kind of figure (AUD) should i expect for just this service? Has
anyone been quoted on this service?
Should I get acceptance from ACS enabling me to apply for residency,
what are the skilled migration application fees (at present)?
Thankyou very much

Re: ACS submission: lawyer reference fees
Whats your fee?
I paid about AU$2k for my migration lawyer + assessment fee + DIMIA Fee.
The total cost was around A$5500 which I was happy to pay and was happy with
the service. Some people may say WOW thats a lot of money and some may say
if your happy I'm happy. It is your choice when it comes down to it and YOU
have to be happy with the costs.
Remember costs isn't everything, but being to cheap could be your downfall.
Some lawyers on the site below are very good and will not charge a lot, in
my view.
go to www.britishexpats.com and look in there forums for this news group.
Then do a search. You will find many topics on costs.
