ACS Skill Assessment (6 years IT experience + Bachelor and Matster not IT)
I have my Bachelor in Industry Automation (information engineering School) and Master in Manufacturing Systems and Technology.
I have exactly 6 years of IT experience.
Do i need to do RPL Assessment or normal skill assessment channel?
If i have to go through RPL, then 6 years experience may not be enough, right?
Anyone knows that? Thanks in advance.

It depends
If your qualifications are assessed as having significant IT content then you won't have to do RPL.
Basically your masters must meet the following criteria to qualify for group A:-
(a) Contain a minimum of three semesters*; and
(b) Contain a minimum of twelve units; and
(c) Contain two semesters* of full-time equivalent ICT content; and(d) Be underpinned by an ICT or non-ICT degree level qualification or an AQF Advanced
Diploma or Diploma or equivalent; and
(e) Have at least one semester* of ICT study at a demonstrably advanced level.
The bold items are the important ones..
There is a chance that your qualification will meet group B criteria though, in which case your 6 years is good enough.
You have 2 options now :-
Seek advice from an agent that is up to speed with ACS regulations
Or wing it and send it in

As above
I think it is if you don't have any degree and go down RPL route you need 8 years experience, if you have a degree then it's 6 years.
I did RPL using 7 years of references/info and they gave the date as the year before on my letter meaning they had counted 6 years experience to the point where I was eligible.

Seems it means for non-IT degree applicant, like me, i should do RPL. And because i have a degree althought it is not IT, the working experience requirement for RPL is 6 years.

The RPL requires 8 years of IT experience and is done when you have no formal qualifications - not your case. It appears that you might fall into the group A (if you satisfy the critieria in bold, above) or group B. If still unsure, hire an agent for a proper assessment, it is very hard to go on with very limited information that you shared publicly.

In relation to your enquiry, unfortunately I'm unable to comment on individual circumstances. As a guide, if a candidate has a recognised tertiary qualification and experience in IT, they may apply under normal skills assessment.
However, if a candidate does not have any recognised tertiary qualification in IT, but has extensive professional experience in IT, then RPL may be the appropriate route. This is what's covered under point 2.7.
Please note however, that under RPL ruling, there may be a 2 years experience deduction, which mean a minimum of 8 years professional experience in IT is required. This is applicable when the applicant does not possess any recognised tertiary qualification (in any field).

But for my Bachelor, bold items can be met.
So is that still Ok to go with Group A?

Not really, but you should be fine with Group B - a degree with minor IT content and 6 years IT experience. Looks to me like you staisfy that, but it might not hurt to get professional advice before you apply.
