Default ACS or IEAust

I have an engineering degree that falls under the washington accord. I have 15 months experience in an engineering related job. Since then I have moved onto IT and have over 6 years experience. However, I only have 5.5 years of proovable, due to one company being taken over and no luck with ex-colleagues. I can only give a stat declaration since I have no payslips/letters etc. Don't want to wait another 6 months cause I am 30 soon.

Unsure of what to do -
Option 1: ACS skills assessment
Does anyone know what ACS would do in my case - is there risk of being failed?

Option 2: IEAust assessment
Would only get 5 points for work exp. but can provide the $100k for the extra five points. Any-one else done this? IEAust seems quicker and easier - is that right?

Any feedback greatly appreciated.

go to IEAust as they don't care too much about the experience

to make sure read their FAQ on this link
