4000 Psi

After lodging 47SK does everyone get an Acknowledgement Letter? Does it
come via e-mail or post?

Our agent submitted our 47SK and ASPC recieved around the 9th August 2003. They took the money on the 18th August 2003 and as yet we have not heard a dicky bird from them - no acknowledgement, no nothing.

We received our acknowledgement by e-mail. Our application was received at ASPC on the 15/4/03 and acknowledged on the 23/04/03, our credit card was charged then too.

There are loads of people who never ever get an acknowledgement. We didn't get one - the email they sent never got through to us - after a phonecall they re-sent it. Do a search on here for old threads there are a lot of people in the same boat - wether it's human error or a problem with the email system I don't know - but we have never actually received a paper one either....You are supposed to get one by email and then post.

If you are waiting for one it's extremely worrying even if they have debited your card because after paying the fee you want to see some sort of evidence with a file ref etc that your case is 'in the system'.

My advice - call them - with your name and DOB they can easily look it up on their system - it took 30 secs for them to see we had been sent the 'missing email'.

Hi,
You should get an acknowledgement by email - if you gave them your
email address. Our app was received by them on the 15th Sept, and I
got the acknowledgement by email today (17th Sept).

I never got an acknowledgment via email or post, although they took my
money from my CC the next day. I had to email DIMIA with my name, dob,
country of origin, and application receipt date for my reference file
number which they promptly replied to within the same day of receiving
my email.
