Hello everyone just a quick question here. Does DIBP requires you to be working while waiting for your visa like 489 or 189? Because I currently resigned from my work and I just wanted to relax for a couple of months while waiting for my visa. Will this cause any issue?? Many thanks.

DIBP won't mind or know how you're spending your time waiting after you've applied for your visa, as long as it's legal

Hello every1. Hope u guys are doin good. Im from pakistan i applied for visa 489 adelaide. I submitted my application on 4th march 2016. Did my med checkup twice. Provided my PCC twice. My mother is also included in my application as dependent. They asked for proofs for dependence, which i provided to them. The last time immigration officer asked for med check up and PCC(this was the 2nd time) which were sent to them on 1st nov 2017. Today its 4th of jan 2018, no visa grant yet and no response since then... Whats going on there. Dont u guys think the time they took on my case is way too much... I dont know what to do. Can Sum1 please tell if its normal?

Hello everyone.I got natural justice in 489 visa and reply to letter approx 5and months.medical also expire in April 17.How much average time of decision on letter and is there any time effect on application status. Like positive or negative. Thanks.

Naa there was no problem with my health. Its just that my med got expired after 1 year. As my case took longer than a year.

Anyhow, visa processing takes as long as it takes, and even published guidelines can only give an approximate for straight forward cases.

Anybody here with Mixed crop and livestock farmer occupation in 489 visa. I recently applied for EOI of SA with 55+10 =65 marks. As vetassess accessed the only 1.5-year experience of mine from 4 years. Is there any chance of physical verification by DIBP ?

Hi guys..I have applied 489visa for Queensland lodged application on 14th September 2017 n uploaded all documents requested included pcc n medical by 10th dec 2017...my question is how much time it takes to finalized status on immi ac as I hav already got verification call last week n now my status has changed to further assessment on immi ac..previously it was assessment in progress.
