487 visa application
I've currently been in Australia for 4 months and been working for 3 months as a software engineer on a working/holiday Visa.
I've been looking into staying in Australia and stay in my current role, the visa I'm looking at is a 487 visa I think.
I wanted to make sure if this is the right route to take. I believe that I am suitable for this visa because I will get my sister to sponsor me because she already has PR with her husband. My skills are good as well.
I will have to move on from my current job if I can't get my visa within 3 months and it is hard to find jobs when I have only the working holiday visa.
Let me know the opinion of this forum and what my best route is.
Having to go home and wait 2 years for a skilled visa doesn't sound like a good idea to me, the only other option is asking for company sponsorship.
