Hi all....in the Wiki Section, under the 457 Restrictions it says
"Bear in mind the usual problem is that the employer won't sponsor for PR. Not can't - won't. "
Why is that?

Many employers often prefer the situation where you cannot freely seek alternative employment.

Yes, my experience in the industry is that JAJ is right. I've come across lots of people who would easily qualify for ENS, but the sponsor won't sponsor them. Of course, then they apply for Skilled migration and move on because they resent the employer for not helping them.

Thats really nice of them especially when you have payed for EVERYTHING yourself.
