457, How Long After Meds?

Hello just checked online 8.00am (Europe).
Says the last childs medical has been finalised. Was panicking as took a couple of days to do the last two kids. So thats all medicals finalised! I know that everything else is ok, as our CO said a couple weeks back everything was ok and she was just awaiting medicals to finalise the visa.
What do they do after finalising medicals??
I cant see what else is needed. As they have got everything and said the documents were fine.

Morning Gems,
Once all health requirements show as finalised usually the next step is visa approval - this can be the same day - in our case it was 3 days later. The online status changed to approved!

You are all worrying me now! We applied online on 29th March, meds finalised 27th April and we are still waiting. Does anyone know of any reason why they would rejest a 457 application?

can you not check the application online ?
If you applied yourself, you should be able to see at which stage the application is.
Did they request meds & xrays or did you preload ?
It seems fairly long, but I didnt have the meds requested until 30 days after our online application. It is quite unusual for 457 to be rejected becuase it is temp and not PR status. Dont get too worried about it, just see first of all if you can find out a bit more info.

We are not handling the application ourselves. A solicitor representing the company my OH is going to work for is handling it. Xrays were requested immediately after submitting the application. I am checking online and have the following messages -
29/3 Application received - processing commenced
18/4 Application being processed further
27/4 All three applicants had 'Health requirements finalised'
On 3/5 we were asked for an employment agreement which was submitted immediately. That was the last we have heard.
The solicitor just says there are delays and the employer will contact Immigration to check on it!
I suppose I am just getting anxious as most people who submitted their applications after ours are already being approved. They say patience is a virtue!

I was offered my position in Feb 2006, and i'm still waiting
Due to delays with my employer, more stringent checks with 457's etc etc its only been 15 months.

Thanks to everyone who posted, I was worried as son has rare medical condition so it could of all gone pear shaped!
here our timeline:
24/04/07 Online Application received.
25/04/07 12 hours after submitting application got contact from CO!
04/05/07 Medicals done (x rays bargain price of 5 pound!)
07/05/07 Medicals received (DHL very good service)
17,18,22 May o7 - Medicals finalised.
25/05/07 Visa granted.
It was sponsorship from WA Education department.
Yippee. Didnt take that long, Ive just discovered Im very impatient!
