Default 186 Visa TRT subclass - Year of employment

I was here throughout covid and am currently on a 482 short stream visa. The recent changes to legislation allow people like me to transition to PR through the 186 visa TRT stream.

One of the requirements to apply for the 186 visa is to have worked for your employer for "for at least 3 of the 4 years prior" to your application. I worked with my previous company for 3 years on a 482 visa, but seven months ago changes companies. If I return to my previous company and worked for seven months, would I still be eligible for the visa?

I would have worked for the nominating company "for at least 3 of the 4 years prior" to my application, but it would not have been 3 consecutive years.

Thanks for any help.

I would be checking that out with a registered agent.
