I made a start on this a week or two ago but only did the first couple of pages and when I came to 'retrieve' my application it said my ID or password were incorrect. I assumed it was me forgetting. So when I spent 3.5 hours doing it yesterday I was very, very careful to accurately record both. Today it has given me the same error message. What a total waste of my time! I could cry

IS there anything I can do?

If you try again tomorrow it may well work - there are a number of bugs in the system and mine would only ever work after a 48 hour gap for some reason.

Otherwise, don't fill it in til you are ready to submit.

Nope- can't retrieve the application I spent 3.5 hrs on but I am using Firefox so I opened up the system in IE and still no joy BUT when I started a test application, completed only a few pages and saved in all in IE, I had no problems opening it again.

I'm not remotely techy but can only conclude that it's better to stick to IE for the apply online facility, although why that would be I do not know

SO frustrating to lose all that time though
