Skilled Migrant Category Points Indicator
Hi,
Have attached this to another thread but think it may be missed.
I know that Primary School Teacher is on the Immediate Skills Shortage list but which box do I tick on the ‘The Skilled Migrant Category Points Indicator ‘ is this a future growth area or absolute skills shortage?
Thanks for the help

Re: Skilled Migrant Category Points Indicator
Hi Mary.
Sorry but it is neither a future growth area nor an absolute skill shortage.
If you are short of points for the skilled migrant category , then you need to look for a job offer BUT you and the NZ employer will need to prove that there is no NZ resident or citizen that could fill that position.

Thanks Bevs,
Yeah I do need the points as I only have 95...will have to get my cv looking better before applying for more jobs as I haven't had any success so far
It sounds hard to prove that you are the only suitable applicant for a primary teacher post when so many kiwis also apply, but suppose it isn't impossible as others have done it.
