Is the waiting time for a reply from the MA different depending on whether you've applied for a temporary work permit or PR?

We heard from our C/O today and guess what!!! they want my OH to be referred to a liver specialist for a diagnosis, treatment & prognosis but we've already been down that route with liver scans etc. and there is nothing wrong with him. Ever feel like your going round in ever decreasing circles!!!!!
so he's off to speak to the GP tomorrow for a another referral. Just hope it's all worthwhile

Oh thats good news Ragdoll... lets hope you hear back from the MA soon. Oh and thanks Tine and MnB, nice to have your positive message
Ok so hubby went to his Gp to ask for the report but they are unwilling to do one until he has yet further tests!!! He has more bloods to be taken tomorrow (starting to resemble a collander) and they will test for 15 new things to see why there is mild liver abnormaility... will take 10 days for the results so another 2 weeks until we MAY have the report to send to the MA... sheesh, xmas deadline is looking unlikely
I wonder if I told them I had won the lottery if they would be so concerned about the MILD LFT... hmmm

Hey so little update - particularly for ragdoll and her hubby!
Results of hubbys blood tests for mild liver abnormality came back today (doc tested for a further 15 things ) and.............. ALL CLEAR!!!
Doc has written letter as requested by MA to state cant pinpoint reason but all OK... this is enough for the MA and CO and we can hopefully have his medical signed off
Ohhh pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease let them sign it off!!!
How are you getting on Ragdoll? x
