National Security Check
Hi, finally I have submitted the application for residence under Skilled Migrant Category.
Does anyone know the purpose of National Security Check?
What does INZ do exactly? Would they call my parents to verify that they financially supported me for my high school, the summer between high school and college? Would they call my college to verify that I was actually enrolled in that college?
I am so confused about this and did not find any old thread. Thank you very much guys!

Not something I've ever heard of. A search on the NZIS website brought up a form for a National Security Check. Have you been asked to fill this in or it it something you've read about?

• answer enquiries about my immigration status once my application has been decided.

information to Immigration New Zealand.
