Question job offer?

Hi all, could I ask a silly question please??? We've just had our EOI selected and are now undergoing the 'preliminary checks'.

Do we have to have a job offer to be granted PR? Financially, we are lucky enough to be able to support ourselves privately, so a job is not essential for us, but do we have to have one to get the visa???

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Default Re: job offer?

Hi Wobbler. You don't need a job offer providing you have enough points without one. However, those with a job offer get their ITA and case officer sooner - those without tend to go to bottom of pile and process takes longer.
