Hi Friends,

I am new to this forum, Want to apply PR for NZ.
I am at the starting stage of my case.

I did Bachelor of computer application from the Punjab technical university. I think I need to go for NZQA and moreover I am nt sure about the gained points. Can anybody help me.

was your degree a 4yr or 3yr degree?
if it was a 3 yrs degree then it would be assessed as level 6, otherwise 7.
usually Indian degrees no matter done from small bedroom sized colleges, are exempted and recognized degrees.

Have a look at the NZIS website under Skilled Migrant Category.

Look under the 'Recognised qualifications' section on the right which will tell you if your place of study and/or qualification is exempt from needing assessment.
To check your points total have a look at the 'Points Indicator' on the link above or register and start a draft EOI- it will add up your points as you go and you can save it for future reference or submission.

2 yrs and 3 yrs bachelor degrees will get Level 6.
apply for PAR see what the result comes.
