Has anyone used the following to assist with move to NZ
Has anyone used 'NZ Immigration Concepts' to help them with the move to NZ?
They are asking for a fee of 2400 NZ Dollars to do various things to help . . .
If so what is your opinion/reviews/experiences?
Thanks

Thanks for the reply.
We would be using them to assist in the migration over to NZ.

why do you need to use an agent? most people on here have saved the money and done it themselves.
If you can give us some info on your situation we may be able to give some of our own personal experiences which may help you

Re: Has anyone used the following to assist with move to NZ
Thanks for your reply:
I am a 30 year old British male
BA Hons in Business Information Technology
I currently work for Lloyds Banking group in Operational Risk but this involves a lot of IT Project Management. I have 8 years experience in the business IT field
My partner is 33 and has a BA (Hons) in Primary Education with 3 years experience but doesn't work in that profession any longer (not willing to in the UK anyway)
We have one child who is 15 months old.
Looking to work and move to NZ permanently
We both have no job offer as yet.
Any help would be great.
Thanks.

Re: Has anyone used the following to assist with move to NZ
it looks all fairly straight forward so am sure you can do it yourselves and save the money.
check out the points indicator and let us know the score you get
https://www.immigration.govt.nz/pointsindicator/
Immigrations.govt.nz will be your go to for information and we can help on here.
you will need 140 or more to be eligible to submit your EOI and be guaranteed for immediate selection, under that and you might have to have a job offer, it depends on where you are gaining points from and what the criteria for that fortnightly selection is.

We've answered yes to a couple more which I don't think I read correctly:
Number of years work experience in any one of New Zealand's:
identified future growth areas ?
areas of absolute skills shortage ?
Answer to this is 8 years
and . . .
Do you have a qualification in any one of New Zealand's:
identified future growth areas?
areas of absolute skills shortage?
Answer to this is yes
Along with the other questions, this gives us a score of 175
Any good? What should we do next?

on some of the points you do need to have a job offer to claim them I believe, just on morning school ready and run so will have a look through when I get back.
I have asked someone who I know has this knowledge already to update the points sticky above and hopefully that will be done in a few weeks.

just found this thread about the points
http://britishexpats.com/forum/immig...points-832035/
please see post 2
"You cannot claim for experience or qualifications in an identified future growth area unless you have already got a job in NZ or an offer of a job in NZ related to an identified future growth area.
You can claim points for work experience/qualifications in an area of absolute skills shortage by claiming an occupation of the LTSSL but you must meet the requirements for that occupation exactly."
and another
