Excavator driver
I'm a 41 year old single guy from the uk and would love to get out to New Zealand to work with a view of staying . I drive 360 excavators and have 17 years experience . In the past I've worked out in Canada but I had to go out there on holiday first to get to interviews to get a job then I came home and it still took months to get my visa through . I guess I would like any information on the easiest n quickest way to get to New Zealand . Many thanks

Re: Excavator driver
first stop would be to look at the Immigration website, http://www.immigration.govt.nz/migrant/
and see if you could get a visa. I'm afraid you are too old for a working holiday visa but you might be ok for a bunac one. skills list or Canterbury list might be an option but feel possibly not classed as a skilled job ? so that route might be a no go, but I know nothing about construction so could be wrong
