I took the Points Indicator test as suggested and it looks like I only score a dismal 90. OH yet to take test. He has loads of really great experience in banking but I'm not sure his qualifications would get him a much higher score and I suspect we only have the job offer route which, TBH, is probably the only way we'd go for it anyway (with two young boys to look after etc). Gotta keep positive. Thanks again.

Don't get downhearted!! I got a job offer by sending applications off whilst still here in the UK and had a phone interview. The job offer would put you above the threshold for automatic selection, and give you security.

I suspected your OH would have to be the principal candidate so he should work out his score and get back to us. It sounds like he will be the one with the job offer anyway so it will have to be this way round. You will be able to add 10-20 points to the total if you have a suitable qualification
