Ok, so you don’t actually have a visa yet. You have a Letter of Introduction, you wouldn’t get the visa until you travelled to Canada with the LOI and got your work permit (‘visa’) upon entry.

I thought that might be the case, and wanted to check as the extension options are very different for the two things. So to extend your LOI, follow the guidance here - https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration....html#approved

You must make sure you follow that process exactly to get your 12 month extension.
