Work Permit Labour Market Opinion - is this a record??
We have just received a positive Labour Market Opinion for my job offer - just 3 working days after my employer spoke to the HRSDC 
Who says things can't move quickly when they get themselves in gear. I hadn't even got around to downloading the work permit forms yet!
We are just crossing everything now, hoping the work permit comes through OK, and our house exchange goes through as expected in the next couple of weeks. Then it's flight booking time - we are hoping to be out of here by the beginning of June.
This still hasn't really sunk in yet, but all I will say (just reiterating many previous threads) is that networking is the key to getting a job in Canada. We were not even looking and something came out of the blue - book your fact finding visit now folks
