Work permit extensions
Hi all
Have been working with my presnt employer for 9 months on a working holiday visa. IS it only possible to get a extension for a work permit only by getting a positive LMO?? So lets say the job isnt in demand but it is technical and part of NOC, would this mean they would not extend my permit if the job is not in demand?

Yup, unless the employer is able to get an LMO, they won't extend the work permit.

It is unlikely that you would get the extension. If you do not ask you certainly won't get so if your employer is willing to try then go ahead but be prepared for a negative reply.
