Woo hoo! We got there in the end!
It's been a long road, with a few obstacles, but we've today received our passport requests! 
We applied in July 05, AOR Aug 05 under SW. Changed to PNP in May 08, medicals taken July 26th, and the lovely brown envelope arrived today!
Yesterday I was gutted about Zoom's demise as it now means my daughter won't be visiting at Christmas, but this has helped to soften the blow a little.
