Hi,

We arrive in Canada on 17th August and want to apply for my TWP and my husband's OWP at the PoE.

I have read the Wiki and can see what my husband needs but just want to check what I have to present.

- Job offer
- LMIA
- Passport
- Fees
- Photos
- Resume? Degree Cert? Past job description?

Is there anything else I need?

Are we ok applying for both my TWP and the SOWP at the same time?

Is there anything else about the process I should be aware of?

As long as you are visa exempt passport holders then that is fine though Im guessing not all will be asked for e.g. photos. Payment can be made in Canadian cash or credit cards. As you will be travelling together you will both be referred into Immigration for processing of the work permits.

Do you have possessions that will be shipped to Canada separately i.e. via shipping company/air freight?

if so there is an additional form you will need for customs. if you are brining more than $10,000 cash or equivalent you will also need to declare.

Cheers - yes have been reading up on goods to follow on the wiki. Such a great source of valuable information but I might still have some questions when our departure approaches.

When We arrived also the same as you TWP and OWP for my husband I was also asked for my police clearance certificates.
Also the rest LMIA, new employer work contract, marriage certificate to prove that we were legally married I suppose that's for my husband getting OWP linked to my TWP.
