Both of you updated! Ryan, glad it's all done; Shaun, hopefully not much longer!

I feel like idiot asking questions all time but it seem clear but sometimes it is not really

After an underwhelming experience at the doctors having my medical done today ($216 for literally 5 minutes with the doctor after almost an hour and a half waiting from my actual appointment time) the application is finally complete and will be sent off tomorrow, on our first wedding anniversary. Feels like a huge weight has been lifted off our backs! Thanks so much to everyone here, the Spousal Sponsorship FAQ has been an excellent resource and we'd have been a bit lost completing the application without it.

Hi there,
Can you please add us to the spreadsheet?

-common-law
- application received on 02/11/2015 (but only received acknowledgement of this on 24/12/2015)
- medical and police checks sent with application
- we live in brum
- processing office is Ottawa
- received sponsorship approval letter today!

Have we missed anything? If so, please let us know. Beyond that, does our processing in ottawa have anything to do with the fact that we have family thereabouts? Or is it just coincidence?

Thanks so much for all your help...

Nope, it's the only visa office in Canada so there's no other option there!

Love your avatar btw, best of luck with your app and welcome to BE.

My husband just received COPR in the mail today

Under medical details, it says Surveillance Code: 1. Does it mean anything? Thanks everyone

My wife received a letter from CIC that states she has met the eligibility requirement to be a sponsor. We are applying to reside in Quebec and have to fill in what the MIDI want, but does this mean approval? or do we have to wait on MIDI as well? Many thanks.

Also if anyone wants to add to the spreadsheet

Application received by CIC - 9th October 2015
Sponsor began processing - 1st Dec 2015
Letter received from CIC - 16th Dec 2015 (Sponsor Eligible - send MIDI undertaking)
PA started processing - 21st Dec 2015
TBC

Looks like it's all there, double-check your line to make sure it's all accurate!

I am assuming your location is Glasgow? Can you also confirm if you are married or common-law (I've put married) and which office is processing you (London or Ottawa)?

Same as above - need to know location and which office is processing you, then I'll add you in.

Hello! I would have a further question, I don't know if anyone would have an answer for it

So, my husband got his COPR yesterday, and we are leaving for a trip abeoad on February 15th, coming back on March 16th, at which date we will "activate" his PR. As of this date, British citizens will need an eTA to travel to Canada. Do you reckon my husband should apply for one?

Thanks !!!
