The nurses told me that the results have always been there and that they just needed to input my tracking number, she said that as the system is new, sometimes they have trouble with it, is this correct? Has anyone else had trouble with this?

E-filing of medical results has been going on for something like 2 years... definitely not a new system. It sounds like you are being told porky pies...

The clinic were really disorganized when I was there, so I am not overly surprised. Hopefully they will have uploaded it now and just told us that to cover themselves.. I assume cic will get in touch with me if it is still not uploaded?

Small update for the spreadsheet (row 131 2014). I got asked to provide evidence of my wife (and sponsor's) intention to return to Canada a few days ago via an email from CIC.
We're down as a common law application but have got married in the 7 months that have passed since the application was made . CIC also asked for some wedding photos, but thats all, so a change between common law and married doesn't seem to cause any problems....
Its reassuring to know that things are slowly progressing!

There's an FAQ section on additional proof of intent if you have any questions!

A few pages back there was mention about the next Toronto meetup.
The thread has just gone up with a date of Friday 8 May. http://britishexpats.com/forum/maple.../#post11612676

Hello all, I am due to fly back tomorrow, I am armed with everything that I need for dual intent re-entry fingers crossed! Do I need to show them travel insurance? If so, do you have any recommendations for anyone? I used essential travel last time for my IEC trip, but you have to be in the UK for 6 months to renew with them (go figure!)
