Default Timeline & CAIPS question for Mr. Andrew Miller

I am resident in Kuwait and have applied to CHC London. My timeline so
far

Application to CHC London: August 2001
AOR September 2001
Pink Card saying interview will be required and will be held within
12-15 months November 2001

I had a CAIPS file check done in October 2002 and my queries
pertaining to the information contained in my file are as follows:

1. The following phrase is repeated several times at various places in
the print out `Paper file sent to KUW File Bf'd to: KUW on
1.1.2003'
Does this mean that an interview will be scheduled only by 19 Feb
2003? This means that CHC London will be exceeding the interview time
frame indicated on the pink card. Will it be held in Kuwait or is
there a way I can quicken the process by having it scheduled in
London?

2. If my interview is scheduled to take place after 31 March 2003, am
I required to appear for the IELTS exam and carry the results with me
for the interview? Or am I exempted from taking the IELTS since I
applied under the old regulations?

3. In the PI notes section the following observation has been recorded
`PI convoked to determine if NOC /settlement criteria met'.Any inputs
on this will be welcome. The visa officer has assessed me in the same
NOC code that I had indicated in my application. I had also submitted
a letter from my current employer and it is in fact mentioned in the
PI notes that there is a good reference from current
employer. Therefore what more could they be looking for?

Thanks in advance for your response.

Regards,

Mickey

Default Re: Timeline & CAIPS question for Mr. Andrew Miller

1. Bring forward date is just a reminder set by processing officer to look at
that time at your application. It doesn't mean that interview can only be
scheduled then - if your turn comes prior to bf date then interview will be
scheduled regardless of such date.

2. It is in your best interest to have IELTS results in any case

3. I cannot comment on any other notes without analyzing it in conjunction with
entire application package - it would be just a speculation and/or guessing.
I'm not in business of guessing anything, sorry.
