Is there any time limit between the PPR and Visa stamping?
Hi,
Is there any specific time limit for getting the Visa stamped at CHC after the date of Issue of Passport Request or not? If yes, then what it is?
Thanx in advance.

You have 60 days from the date on the letter requesting your passport in which to supply your passport to CHC for insertion of the visa. If you do not supply your passport within this time limit then your application will be refused.

Your medicals still have to be valid (within a year of submitting them) too dont they?

CHC will usually request your passport well before your medicals expire unless there is a problem with your medical report or your security checks. If they do not request your passport within 12 months of you taking the medical then either your application will be refused and a reason for refusal will be given in a letter from CHC or you will be asked to re-take the medical at your own expense.

I recently received our PPR and the time period to present passports was reduced from 60 to 30 days - which wasn't too much of a problem as I live in the South East and work in West London. But with the postal strike on you would have extended the time period rather than reduce it. Anyway I'm taking my raffle ticket to CHC next Thursday to pick up the passports.
