Thanks everyone-finally entered as a resident
Hi;
Just wanted to thank everyone for their advice and help. I finalized my application by entering as resident on wednesday.
By the way, for those who are currently on work permits (whether applying for residency or not) with social insurance numbers starting with the number 9, you will need to apply for a new SIN as numbers starting with 9 will expire on April 3rd 2004. I did not know about this until Immigration Quebec told me at the border as I was entering.
