4 March 2002 : Submitted Application
18 March 2002: got AOR

Unfortunately, Sydney is notoriously slow.
My time line is as follows,
Applied, Sydney, Jan 1998.
Called for interview Nov 2000 ( nearly 3 years later)
Landing permits received Jan 2002. (4 years, like we don't have lives to get
on with!)
We delayed our medicals for 6 months due to my wifes pregnancy, other than
that we simply had to wait for Sydney to do their bit. So at best, in our
situation, it was at least 3 and a half years of waiting.
